Cranberry Raisin Sauce

Serves 8-10

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

350g frozen cranberries

150g golden sultanas

75g brown sugar

1-teaspoon cinnamon

450ml water

Directions
  1. In a saucepan, heat butter until melted, add sultanas and cook for 2 minutes to soften up.
  2. Add cranberries and cook for a further 3 minutes. 
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a simmer for about 10-12 minutes until it begins to resemble a thickened sauce like consistency. 

Who said you could only have cranberries with your turkey, this sauce packs a great fruit punch to your meal.  This can be made 2 days ahead of time, kept in a airtight container and refrigerated.
